Well this thread was deleted so I'll restart it again.
Has anyone used a Stretching machine? Are there any benifits to them over doing it without a machine? Good or bad comments?

You could try it, but for gods sake don't buy one or pay loads of money to try it. There probably isn't an awful lot WRONG with them as such, but you can perform normal stretches and just watch your form without a machine. Sounds like a waste of money to me.

There are the basic ones that are just three hinged rods of metal, I personaly think these are likely to put far too much of a load on the knees. The expensive ones which you sit in and turn a handle to widen your legs look pretty good but I doubt if they are worth the money. There aren't many stretches you can't do just as effectivelely by yourself or with small assistance from a friend or well positioned inanimate objects.

hi there, as a gymnast i would not recommend a stretching machine, i personally never found it any use. i find that stretchin out with a partner helps!!!

when you stretch out with a partner you learneach other flexibilty and you know how far to push each other if you know what i mean!
