Once again, the head of the Rapid Arnis system (and MAP member ;) ) Pat O'Malley is travelling up to Edinburgh to teach a weekend seminar in this highly effective style.
Pat has taught in Edinburgh several times now and I can't hype him enough. Material he has covered in the past has included double and single stick; stick and knife; knife and unarmed methods.

I still feel ill from the last time I went out drinking with Paul (you remember don't ya Whitey :D).

Pat, have you got any plans as to what your covering when your up?

I quite fancy this, but I have little or no experience with the whole stick fighting thing apart from the last Edinburgh MAP meet! :rolleyes:
Is it likely to be suitable for absolute beginners such as m'self or for more skilled people? :D

ColAs far as I am aware I know Paul wants me to cover a lot of knife defence and I will be playing around with more Mano Mano (Empty hand) including the Dumog (Grappling). Lot's of stuff to show as usual in all areas.

I now have a weird indent in my chest from where I 'fell' (read dragged ;) ) onto Pats training knife :D

Thanks to everyone, especially Paul & Shelley and not forgetting "Mullet Girl", "Penfold" and "Danger Mouse";) we really enjoyed being with everyone.

Much fun was had by all I hope.
