The new look frontpage is now live (http://www.martialartsplanet.com). Cooler and myself would like to thank all our members for bearing with us this week whilst the new site has been launched, and hope that some of the new features, such as the journal (http://www.martialartsplanet.com/forums/journal.php) have made it worthwhile for you.

Now that the site has been upgraded, we will be able to add a lot more features, so if you have any suggestions that you would like to see, then please let us know.

I'd love to see a Map Cartoon if we have any budding artists among us. It'd be fun and a bit different.

Wild guess, but Mpegs are on the way too?

I like the new look, its sexy :)

How about a downloads section, with stuff like wallpaper, website buttons?
Maybe if some members can do them, we could make some skins for programs like MSN or Winamp?

I'll have a go at a winamp skin if you like :D

I've never done it but after a brief look on the winamp site I'm pretty sure I could do it.

How about a monthly MAP Wallpaper with a calendar for that month - like the free wallpapers you can get from the Ordnance Survey? I could do that using Cooler's wallpaper as a starting point.

BTW I notice 2 features which I miss a bit...

In the main index there used to be a 'last post yesterday' or 'today' but now it only shows the date...wondering if you could bring it back...

The second thing is the 'why' in editing....

I should be able to do one for MSN messenger, and if anyone's got any short M.A related sound files I could use for it, PM me.

I'll see if I can make others, like winamp or other programs. I'll look into it after the exams are over (argh!).

How does this look? Its more or less finished now, apart from needing someone to test it out. It has MA based sounds too, instead of the regular beep-beep or whatever
