OK, I know there's a few Scots and people who've visited Scotland on here, so I figured I'd post for some advice.

I'm planning a trip to Glasgow/Edinburgh sometime after my exams (nothings set in stone yet) Flights aren't a problem, I can get those cheap enough, but I need some advice on a cheap half decent hotel to stay in.

Anyone give me any tips? :D

Give me the dates please K Girl.

Paul Paterson has offered you the Panda cage at Glasgow Zoo for four stalks of Bamboo per night.
I'll be saving up fermented fruit until you arrive!

Depends what you are looking for and for how long, and if it's just you or you are bringing some friends....can help you out with anything from a backpackers hostel through to a six person apartment through to a five star hotel!! :D

You could try premier hotel at Charing Cross its £50 for a double room. Its ok but if you get a room on one of the higher floors its a great view. Theres tons of hotels near Charing cross which is handy for the city centre as its next to sauchiehall street

If you're going to Glasgow get in touch with Ghostsuit - his mum has a B & B in town and the food is good!

If you want cheap n clean, you could look at staying outside of the big city's. B & B in Irvine or Kilmarnock will set you back around £20 a night, and your only half an hour away from Glasgow there.

Don't they have student hostels anymore?

Sarah, if you do make it up here, and you wanna come train to, then............Wash yer GI ! :D
