Open Minds - Visit MAP Schools

As I watch our "Hapkido Check-In" grow, I am so happy to see so many practioners of different schools of Hapkido getting together and sharing ideas, history, experience, and general goodwill. I, for one, would love to get together and visit some other Hapkido schools and see how things go on in your system.

I would like to start a thread (like the "All Members" thread in General Discussion) where interested members of the Hapkido can open up their doors to MAP members to come and visit. This is different from the check-in thread becasue I ask that only interested parties post there... if you don't feel comfortable (or your instructor doesn't), then please don't post. So we don't violate any terms of use (no free advertising), let's use the following format:

What you can offer and what visitors can expect: HKD in a very comfortable environment, smallish classes (usually 5-15 per class), focus towards self defense.

Location:Merrillville,Indiana USA,driving is an option from Chicago or Indianapolis airports.
What you offer and what visitors can expect:Hapkido and TaeKwondo 6 days a week,classes are on the small side(6-20),very comfortable,non-competitive atmosphere,heavy emphasis on practical self defense. We also have a "weapons only" class on Saturdays.

What you offer and what visitors can expect: Othodox, traditional Hapkido. HQ for Jung Ki Kwan in Midwest. Generally two to three 2-hour classes 7 days a week, no egos, and no politics in the dojang - just hard training and a friendly, fun learning environment.
