The site is being upgraded at 6:00 tonight. It should be down for around 1 hour to allow us to convert to the new forum.

The server is now (half) live. We had to bring the site upgrade forward by 2 weeks due to the problems we have been experiencing with the database, so please bear with us whilst we get the rest of the site online.

Home page, forums, calendar and arcade should all be OK. Let us know if you have a problem on any of these sections.

We are working on getting the rest of the site functional, but thought the current members would appreciate having most of it back up and running as soon as possible!

Looks pretty good so far from a "new look" perspective.

Is the home page finished? Looks very sparse compared to the old one with much less functionality. I like the lastest threads box and used it a lot. Also the link to who's online is something I used a lot directly from the homepage.

I've just had a look with my web designer hat on. Code looks tidy - just one MAJOR comment though....

ALT TAGS!!!!!

An oversight maybe?

alt tags and quick reply should be sorted in next few days. Thanks guys, let us know if you notice anything else.

Photo's, Clubs, Links should now all be working. There is also a new 'journal' button in the forum. Feel free to 'have a play' with it!

Still a lot of work to do, in particular the Magazine section. Let us know if you guys notice anything else missing.

The links button on the top of the page seems to be making an error (could be my browser, its Opera)

The links still don't seem to work either?

Any chance the recent post list will be put back on the front page?

Opera, love it! Never had a problem with it on MAP.

Hi all thanks for the feedback. As I have said this is a work in progress due to the fact we had to bring the move forward. In all honesty we were not really ready for it but felt we had to do something due to all the down time we were getting. The front page is just a stand in at the moment, there will be a new one coming soon, so please bear with us over the next week or two till we get everything back in working order.

Keep those opinions coming though :)

Who's online is 'online users' click on that, it's there :)

Dunno about stats though...

Well spotted Cain - you can indeed get the online users page from the new home page.

We are not currently planning to bring back the stats page.

Stats

Not even as a mods option?

It's what lets us see growth and activity. Not to mention poularity of threads, posting habits and active recruiters?
