In light of the recent events in Asia our lickboxing club are organising an open semi-contact competition for kids under the age of 12 years. All of the money raised on the day will be donated to the Tsunami Fund.
Dunfermline High School are kindly donating the use of the hall and mats and WUMA have offered trophies for the categories. We will also be in contact with the Dunfermline Press in an effort to publicise the event.
We will be organising some posters for the event and you help getting them into visible places would be appreciated. Local pubs, shops, libraries, leisure centres, offices, factories - anywhere you can think. Just ask and we will forward posters on to you.
Registration will be from 12:30. The costs for participating will be £5 and spectating will be £3.
Please, please, please support this event in anyway you can but most of all by taking part if your under 12 years old or spectating if you are over 12 years old. We all have a great opportunity to make this a great success for the club and make a contribution to the lives of others in need of help.
Thank you.
