Hello.
Does anyone know of a good (or bad) school for Hapkido outside of Chicago? There is a Chang's Hapkido Academy real close to my house that would be ideal. Does anyone have thoughts on this or other schools west of chicago, good or bad?
Thanks for your time!
Phil.

Hey, I go to Chang's Hapkido Academy. If you want any info on the school I'm the one to ask ;)
Which school is close to you: Darien, Naperville, or Lombard?

Hello Phil,
This is just a question, but are you looking for Traditional or Modified Hapkido? This will narrow the search considerably. If you do not know the difference, PM me and I can give you my explanation.

Thanks for all the replies!
I'm near Darien! Paratus, there's a Chang's on Cass Ave that I was thinking of going to. Can you tell me more about Chang's I'd really appreciate your input!
Iron_ox, I'm quite new to the MA so I don't know the differences, I'd really appreciate any info you can supply. I'll PM you for sure.
Thanks again for any advice!
Phil.

Sure, what would you like to know?
You know, better yet, you could just stop in and talk to the instructer, his name is Michael Uzuanis ;)
If you're wondering who I am, I'll be the tall red-headed red belt :D

I belong to Tiger An's Martial Arts in NW suburban Algonquin. Tiger An's is a White Tiger school. Master An is a 6th degree Black Belt in TKD, and a 5th degree in HKD. He also hold a BB in Judo. It's a very good school.
