The only flute rock around. They were doing some sort of show by me a couple years ago, but Ian came down with some throat ailment or something and they canceled it. Didn't the keyboardist have a sex change operation recently?
Favorite song: Locomotive Breath

I've seen Tull in concert about 3 or 4 times.
My favs are "Cross-eyed Mary", "Nothing is Easy", "Teacher" and "Minstrel in the Gallery".
Andersen recently did an acoustic tour a few months back and just last month here appeared with the rest of his band.
Back in 03' many of their concerts here weren't well received unfortunately due to some political comments he made.

For a long time I avoided Jethro Tull because I had a bad case of prog-phobia, but a few months ago I got a free copy of Aqualung, and I have to admit, I liked it a lot. My favorite Jethro Tull song right now is probably "A Song for Jeffrey."

The riff to Aqualung is an interesting finger exercise for bass players (like me!). My kids also liked the line "snot is running down his nose", which not many people would've put in a song lyric.
Thick As A Brick is good too.
The album to avoid (IMHO) is "A Passion Play". To me it is just stupid.

I would say "Locomtive Breath" is my favorite song. I do like "Bungle in the Jungle" a lot. That whole "I"m a snake when we disagree" line is quite catchy.
