I like to read any time any where. However some of my favorite places to read are in my chair late at night with the fire burnig. In the park on a warm spring or autum day. In the early mornings during summer.

I mainly read on the hour-long bus journey to and from work. I don't like reading in parks cos I'm worried that someone's going to jump me.
Otherwise, you can't beat reading on a Sunday afternoon when it's raining heavily outside :D

I love to read curled up in my bed. I fluff up my feather pillows cuddle under the nice warm quilt and read until I fall asleep. Gives me very interesting dreams and as it usually occurs after the kids are asleep it is un-interrupted!
In summer, I like to sit out on my hammock under the pines in my back yard and read.
But honestly, I will read anywhere. There is no bad time to read, except maybe while driving. ;)

Reading, when? -- anytime (other than while driving, as Mrs Owt said).
Where?
1) Sitting in the reclining chair in my living room, with the cats on my lap (they come running as soon as they hear me get in the chair). Especially nice when it's raining or snowing, and I've lit an aromatic candle, and have a nice, hot mug of tea.
2) In bed, under a pile of nice, warm quilts (and cats).
3) On the sofa in my library, especially late at night or very early in the morning.
4) On my deck, sitting in the chaise longue (no cats), particularly early in the morning.
5) On the beach.
6) At retreat centers.
In a hammock in the sun.
On the train to and from work.
On the loo. (C'mon guy's, don't deny it, you all do it.)

Just about anytime and anyplace. On the plane, the bus, in restaurants. Once, I read the Te Tao Ching in a bar. Lots of curious people and questions :)
Favorite place? The men's library :D Just kidding. No favorite place, if I have 5 spare minutes, I'll open up which ever of the 3 or 4 books I'm reading and read.

I read on the thunderbox, just because it's the only place I get time to read, and there's nothing like making a good book last for a month.

I like reading in my room, sitting on my bed with my stereo on, or on the train with my minidisc player going. When the weather's nice, I'll go and read on a bench by the beach or in the garden. I usually take whichever book I'm reading with me when I go cycling and read a chapter when I take my break. I pretty much need to have music when I'm reading for some reason

Anywhere, any time. Normally just lay on my bed and chill with a bit of music on and read a nice big war book. However, other places are in my chair in the living-room, in the car, on the bus (odd occasion I get on a bus), even read a book on the ferry going to Ireland last year.
When? Whenever I can, unless it is a book I have been waiting for for ages I will go for a 24 hour reading blitz eg Harry Potter 5 when that turned up, and what I will do when 6 comes out too :D

I like to read in bed and also when I'm having a nice long soak in the bath lol.
Don't worry, I never get the pages wet with all those bubbles lol.

Usually late at night, when its nice and quiet in my bed a lamp to one side and some snacks on the other.
Other times in the crapper. I feel bored if I dont read anything while...y'know....'concentrating'

Sheesh, I thought I was the only one who got HP5 when it came out at midnight and stayed up all night with it afterward. At least, that's the way it seemed from the way my parents reacted when they discovered what I'd been doing all night instead of sleeping :D
I also always read on the bus and el when I lived in Chicago; the bus ride to school was long, what else was I supposed to do?
Personally, I like to go to the bookstore and read stuff (especially when new installments of a series come out in hardcover; they're not in the library yet but they're too expensive to buy). The best is when I can get to a cafe first, and the bookstore has easy chairs.
I also read before going to sleep pretty much every night, even if it's only for 15 minutes or so; even when I come home from work at 4AM I'll pick something up for a few minutes.

I like to read at home, a few hours before a book report is due. :D
sometimes when I'm reading for school I start the book, but then go to http://pinkmonkey.com/ or http://sparknotes.com/

Oh yea! Lunch and a novel, breaks and a novel, late night snack and a novel. Who needs a tele anyway.
