Hi my name is Jon and I am 17. I was interested in this form of martial arts but I just have a few questions. First of all I have had a few months of training of taekwondo and I like it, but I needed something more challenging not that I want to get beat up or anything. I have taken off like a year or so and I am definetily rusty not that I was real good or anything, I was a beginner actually. I was curious if this fighting style is for me though. I'm looking for a really good martial arts, the best of the best type of thing. Is this what that is? To be honest with you I'm not really informed about this thai kickboxing but am very interested, just need a little convincing. Second, I live in Norman, Oklahoma and I was wondering if you guys could help me find a good instructor, if there is one. Thanks for all your help!

I second that, I would like some information on starting thaiboxing too. I've also taken a year off (lazy) and want to get back in the saddle.

Hey guys, Thai boxing (Muay Thai) is very efective, challenging, and a blast. There is a lot of repetition such as a lot of bag work (kick's, punche's, knee's, elbow's, and combos). It involves thai pad drill's, bag work, shadow boxing, weight's, jump ropeing, running, and full contact sparing, knee sparing ect. Did you want more detail?

look through Google or something for muay Thai schools in Oklahoma. Thai boxing isn't for everyone...it's quite vigorous, strenuous and requires a good amount of work on your end. But it is relatively easy to grasp, it's highly effective and it usually doesn't require years and years and years to achieve some level of success. Again it's up to you...
