I just watched half of it and i got bored. They're not doing randori in the half i've seen that's why the techniques look so flawless.
I liked the song and the main idea though.

I could take him...at least till he got ahold of me...then I'd be dead....
Nice video from someone who knows very little about Judo.

I just love the slow motion of it all :) Not to mention the flying armbar! :D

That is a beautiful tape. I wanted to see more so I played it three times. I suppose to some, anything demonstrating the art in something would be bored. Too bad. I guess the trees were in the way.

Instead of using the word "some" feel free to name who you are referring to, it's the polite thing to do. It's only 5 of us who replied mate :D .
I don't need a video demonstrating Judo, because I see enough of demonstration in class, that's why I find it boring. Off course People who practice other styles won't find it boring. But I guess being as smart as you are you already figured that out, after all you are smart enough to know how I think only from reading my 3 lines reply.
I guess the trees got in your way too.

That was an awesome video. Very well-made. And the slow-motion thing is so much better than the fast action fights normally shot. I'm definitely taking up Judo, until i can do that. :)
It'd be really cool if that site were translated...

I liked the video, except it was a bit too slow for my taste (the slow, soothing song doesn't help much either). Plus, the throws look like the opponent isn't resisting at all. But it was definitely well done.
BTW, can anyone tell me what some of them are? The one's I'm wondering about are at...
1:15 (fireman's carry looking takedown)
1:35(twisting takedown)
1:44(side suplex looking throw)
1:54(roll into sidemount).
I'd greatly appreciate it. I wanna know what these are so I can ask about them in Judo class. Might spice things up a little (Like to try something else besides seo nagi, Osoto Gari and Uchi Komi).

1. Variant of kata guruma (shoulder wheel)
2. Looks almost like a very dunamic Yoko wakare (side separation), but I'm really not sure about that
3. Either tani-otoshi (valley drop) or suki nage (scooping throw) could look like that, but again, I think it might be a cross
4. Sumi-gaeshi (corner throw). Could also be done from a tewara-gaeshi (rice-bail throw)
It's been a while since I did Judo though, and the style of jujutsu I do identifies throws by different names in some cases, so I may be getting confused ;)

Very fun video. i was wonderin would it be worth doing Judo After sometime in BJJ (you know later in life) because it has so many more takedowns then BJJ? (if i should start a new thread instead of posting off topic then please feel free to put me in my place :) ) Also i agree with Yuki the flying armbar was awsome!

Hey, really appreciate you going through the trouble of naming them. I'll ask my sensei about them tommorow :).
