First of all, I'm new here, nice to meet you all minnai :) Well, I want to get myself a book on stretching, since I haven't stretched for quite a long time my hamstrings are now so stiff that if feels uneasy for me. I've heard that a book called 'Stretching Scientifically (Final Editon)' by Thomas Kurz seems to be the most effective one; what's important is that it works. (as so I heard) Anybody here have the book or had come across the book could give me some input here pls? Does it have any illustrations? Coz if the books is all writing, uh I'm not too into it then... I prefer books that have illustrations to teach you, it makes things a lot easier. And is the book worth it? Any other recommendations? This might not be right, but if there is a place or site where I could DL or see the scans or contents of the book, it would be cool. Thx in advance....
Lastly, I've just got myself a book called 'Gold Medal Mental Workout', and would like to ask for people who have read the book on their opinions.... thks once again!

I have "Stretching Scientifically". It's a good book. Plenty of pictures and even stick figure illustrations too. Thomas Kurz has written many articles you can find a lot of them here: http://www.stadion.com/column.html

Thx for the link HammerFist-san =) Most important of all is the book (exercise) easy to adapt? Are the explanations easy to comprehend? I've heard people said that some partciular exercise can leave a big coma on your head.
KickChick, go-men! Didn't notice the search button ^^; What's H & F btw?
sharkey, I dunno about the video, but there were mix feelings from people who have watched it. I just want the book for now, since I really wanna get back some of my flexibility and even making it better this time around....
Anyways, thx for the heads up! Are there any other stretching book recommendations? And has anybody come across a book called ' Gold Medal Mental Workout' by Dariusz Nowicki? It's about mental conditioning, and I just got myself the book. It's not bad, worth the expensive price ^^; But there is a question I would like to ask about the books, so if anybody have or has read the book, kindly let me hear yoru opinions about the book :)
