Same goes here, we're beginning to see an increase in the numbers of Aikidoka on these forums.
Like Spike said, can you let us know more about Ki Aikido, as all I really know is that it (initially at least) is quite different from what I practice.
Pretty soon we should have a fairly full house for Aikido on this site, with all the major styles from the first generation of students under Ueshiba represented!

LMAO!
The style I study was created by Sensei K Williams. He was an unchideshi under Abbe Sensei (introduced Budo to the UK) and under Tohei SEnsei for 10 years. Due to all the politics between Shin Shin Toitsu (Tohei) and the Aikikai (K. Ueshiba), Sensei Williams broke away and created his own Aikido for the western mind.
Both Aikido and Ki technqiues are practiced with equal importance with some elements of Randori. We study Tanto, Bokken and Jo but thats not under the later stages.
So what other styles of Aikido also live here?

Ki Aikido was a style founded by Sensei Koichi Tohei. It was Mr. Tohei who introduced Aikido to the Philippines in the early 70's. He shuttled between Hawaii and Manila (Philippines) to teach. In Manila, he had 5 core students who would later on spread the art. One of those 5 was a Cebuano who brought the art here. He currently teaches Shin Shin Toitsu Aikido.
I myself started on Ki Aikido before I moved on to the Hombu and later on, moved again to the non-traditional styles. I supplement my Aikido with Aikijujitsu training nowadays.
Sadly, the politics that infected aikido itself has fragmented the art into different styles and denominations.
Glad to have found this forum. May I look forward to see a comprehensive representation of aikido in this website very soon!
