Hi Niven,
and welcome to the forum.

Suggest you check out this seminar on Sunday the 27th in Glasgow;

Seminar (http://www.martialartsplanet.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=2309)

Failing that, you have Tim Carruthers in Glasgow and Rick Young in Edinburgh, who are both well established in the JKD field as well.

Don't miss that seminar though!

Andy

Hello and welcome. I would also suggest, if you have not already, reading some of Bruce Lee's commentary books or his fighting style books. Some goods ones are "The Tao of Jeet Kune Do" and his biography-"Bruce Lee's Fighting Spirit" (I believe those titles are accurate) If you have any books that you liked by Bruce Lee, I would much appreciate any suggestions.

Thank you both for your time.

1/Learn from as many sources (books, videos, instructors, schools, forums etc) as possible.

2/Don't get caught up in the Original v's Concepts rubbish - there's merits in both (do what works for you).

1. I also think that we should be inspired by Bruce Lee, but not imitate him.

2. Forget about Bruce Lee the filmstar .

3. Don't turn up to lessons trying to look like Bruce Lee.

iF YOU HAVE SEEN RICK THEN YOU DO NOT NEED ANY ADVICE OR HELP MAKING THE DECISION.

OTHER THAN RICK I WOULD SUGGEST MARK HAYES AT THE COMBAT ZONE IN SHEFFIELD WHO KEEPS THE JKD CONCEPT GOING AT FULL THROTTLE.

ATTEND DAN INOSANTO SEMINARS AND BOB BREEN SEMINARS AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE:woo:
