dvd rom wont spin

last night it was working fine then the next day it just stops spinning so i thought it was my os problem then i formated and it still wont then later on in a few days lucky it spin so i cant install it back then later it stops for good does anyone know why?

Hardware fault?

Try some other disks....try unistalling the drive then having it reinstall, if that fails its probablly broke.
