Sure do. Not too long ago I suffered a similar trauma taking a mean slip down a bunch of cement stairs and hitting both my coccyx (tailbone area) and hip.

A bruised tailbone may take several days to several weeks to completely heal. A fractured tailbone takes 4 to 6 weeks to heal. In either case, people sometimes have pain for longer.

While your tailbone is healing it may help to use one of those doughnut cushions when you are sitting. A doughnut cushion may be purchased at a medical supply house or you may use a child's swimming inner tube. You should place an ice pack on your tailbone for 20 to 30 minutes every 3 to 4 hours for 2 to 3 days or until the pain goes away.

A doctor may prescribe an anti-inflammatory or pain medication. It is important to avoid constipation while your tailbone is healing so drink plenty of fluids and increase the amount of fiber in your diet.

it didnt heal correctly!!!

you definatly have a build up of scar tissue in there and most likely the joints are stuck(S.I) a couple sessions of physio can solve the scar tissue and after that a chiro can pop you back into place

... like I said people sometimes have pain longer.

As KageKi suggested do go and have a physician check it out ....
