Well Bruce Lee developed it but it was created from his basis in Wing chun which is from china.

hmmm.... :confused: I think JKD is based on many techniques because i heard that bruce Lee learned many styles and JKD is not actually a 'style' (correct me if i'm wrong), as I read in Ron balicki's book, so I doubt that JKD came from China. I'm still confused where JKD came from. I saw a website showing that JKD came from USA :confused: well maybe yes, because it has many western influences, isn't it? so where does it actually come from?
And should we say a MA came from what the MA is based on??? or where did that MA is developed???? like Capoeira, came from Brazil or Africa?? because i heard that it was developed by african slaves...

Capoeira has roots in africa, so it is an african brazilian art. Strange to see that the whole of south and north of america is grouped together though.
