Shintaido Information!?!

Lol! Busted! Certainly have! Found it very interesting to be honest! Just wanted to gather a few opinions on it! Because it seems through practicing this art! Your able to disable your opponent by merely manipulating the mind!?! If this is possible to learn! This could be a massive break through for the MA world! What you think!?!

There's a few threads out there on the subject of 'empty force'. Or 'empty farce' as I prefer to call it. The best you can hope for is to be able to use a couple of psychological tricks to make your opponent move.

The only manipulation of minds tend to be those who pay large sums of money trying to develope these skills.

Most people seen being moved without contact by 'masters' tend to be that 'master's' senior students. People who he already has a strong psychological power over. He's their teacher and they don't want to make him look foolish. These 'masters' have not managed to repeat these tricks on members outwith his school. Usually spouting a spurious reson for it.

I'm sure that there are other aspects to Shintaido that are ok, and reasonable. But this 'mind manipulation power' is just a gimmick to get people in the door.

Hokey religions and ancient weapons are no substitute for a good blaster at your side.

I must agree selling prospects are a major part of it!! Going off reality though! Its said everybody has the potential to read what people are thinking, But because we dont know how to train the mind to do this properly we are unaware and unable!

Does anyone know if it has anything to do with the Shinto religion!?! :o
