Hi all!
Mo Lung recommended me to this site, and I thought I'd introduce myself with a challenge to you all!!!
Some time ago we had a tournament via a system called Battlemail, which allowed us to have mock kung-fu fights by email.
'What is this Battlemail then?'
It's a small game package you can download from 'www.battlemail.com'. It allows you to challenge any of your friends by either sending them an email through the downloaded software, or finding an existing username to challenge.
The idea is you pick a character, choose a series of moves from three basic choices, type in a victory cry (just in case you win) and then off it goes!
The recipient receives your challenge, applies their moves and see how they compare to your supreme kung fu skills! The challenger is then emailed the outcome of the fight plus a replay.
The more you play and the more you win the more experience points you get. This means more belt grades, and the chance to hone your style. You can add extra points to your stamina or train your punches and kicks to have more power. Either way, the goal is ultimately to reach Master status and beat off all challengers!

'Sounds great - How do I start?'
It's very simple. Go to Battlemail.com and download Battlemail. It's about 2 meg. Then just follow the instructions to install it. For those of you concerned about net security, it doesn't seem to have any spyware attached, and if you've got zonealarm or something installed already I doubt if you're going to have any problems. Also, it can run from a minimum spec PC.

Once it's all installed, follow the simple instructions to create your own unique user ID, and the email address from which you will send and receive the challenges. Then come back here, post your ID and wait for the challenges to come rolling in!
For those of you who have just downloaded it, my user ID is:
Shaolin_monkey
I eagerly await anyone who feels they can defeat Stinky Monkey Finger! :D
Once we have enough interest we can download the Tournament patch and start the 2003 MA PLanet Battlemail Arse Kicking Contest!
:o  :D
