The original hardcore! Now every genre uses the term, but it wasn't always that way. Starting to feel my age...
I'm a big hardcore fan, but I must admit I'm not so up on the newer bands. I do know Stampin Ground. Saw them once and they were awesome.
Despite being an Essex boy though, I've always listened mainly to US hardcore, particularly NYHC: the Cro-Mags, Agnostic Front, 25 Ta Life, all great stuff.
Does anybody know a UK band called Stalingrad though? I had their demo yonks ago and it blew me away.

If you do track any of their stuff down mate, can you let me know where? I'd love to get hold of it again. When I left the UK I unfortunately had to leave a lot of my CD collection behind.
