Maybe he cant find any kendo nearby *shruggs* I did the same thing about 2 1/2 years ago.

But be aware of the other sword arts out there. As soon as I can I will post some links to western SA sites.

it have a lot of very knowledgable people there who can point you in the right direction on a variety of different styles of swordsmanship
and then there is
www.aemma.org
this site has few books stored on it


and then you can alway enter western swordsmanship into a search engine and wade through the infor mation

Oh yeah I didn't think about that...My kendo club is 2 1/2 hours away in a car. :mad:

Yeah alot of them, I found Iado pretty interesting myself. I'm sure you have already heard of it but Musashi's 5 rings is a good book if you are learning swordsmanship or any art. I will post some sites with sword forms on here if I can find them.:confused:

my group is about 15 min on bike from where i live

iaido sounds nifty but since I use a longsword you cant really transfer iaido to german longsword
