You're just a victim looking to become a victor by providing the continuation of the victim/bully system. "They did it to me so it's ok for me to do it to them"
Riiiiight!

wow quick post. lol
I just edited it and i found that yoda was the first to reply :D
Its that kind of hierarchical bullying that leads to all the bad stuff going on in schools these days. If you're going to be a senior, act like one and don't follow the crowd.

Heya!! current senior here! I must admit, picking on freshman during hell week is fun.(I mean football hell week btw :) ) but you can't do enough uplifting. I never forget to take time to help freshman in their weighlifting, athletics. Sometimes even in their school work(not to often) remember that it is better to give than to recieve.(except in some cases) :)

On a more serious note, the need to bully comes form fear either that or you have been bullied b'fore by seniors so you think it's fine to do to it on others ie that's what you are supposed to do, but it ain't
Now be a good boy and listen to kyo girl, act like u r a senior
and stay off 'sike' :D

Just a quick question when you say freshmen and Senior how old are you talking? I have had my american friends tell me in the past but cannot remember, so cannot compare them to the uk school system. ie are seniors like our 6th form 16 to 18 years old then college or uni etc
I think it might be 17 to 18 is the senior year?
Solane
22-Mar-2003, 04:29 PM
Ah right that would be the equivalent of our Upper 6th form 17 –18 year old in England.
1st to 5th year GCSE
6th form A levels
Beyond college and University and work :)
1st year 11-12
2nd year 12-13
3rd year 13-14
4th year 14-15
5th year 15-16 Can leave school at 16 to work
lower 6th form 16-17
upper 6th form 17-18 leave school to work or go onto higher education.
different system in scotland.
Its very easy to bully its harder to listen and help. :)

14- 15= Freshmen
15-16= sophmore
16-17=Junior (which I am)
17-18-9=Senior
These aren't the exact age but mostly all of the 9th through 12th graders fall into these age groups.

Shoshin wo wasurezini, or, "Never forget your beginner's heart". In other words, so long as you remember what hell you were made to endure as a freshman, you won't put the freshers through the same hell when you're a sophomore, or a senior...

I'm curious; does this mean that you hate yourself?

Jeez, that'll get you an assault charge here in Wisconsin. My son defended a little kid against a bully and HE was the one who got in trouble. Needless to say, I had "words" with the principal.

That was always something I hated in school; on the one hand, we were always told to stand up to bullies, but the moment we did, we'd be punished for fighting. It's a no-win situation. The message is to jump the bully away rfom school property, which would then lead to charges of premeditated assault. No wonder so many kids try to equalise the score by taking a gun to school...

I agree Im 14 and Im in 8th grade. I'm starting high school next year. My parents have always told me to stand up for myself and when I do I get punished for it. But as far as a gun. I'd never bring a gun but I hope I dont have to worry about this "Freshmen Hell Week" It sounds really stupid. And It maybe the week I get suspended because there aint no way anywhere that Im letting people pick on me just because they're older than me.

When all else fails, attack the groin. That's how I got MY bully to back the hell off. One shot, one down, no more bullying EVER :p

Being voted 'most likely to commit a school shooting' seemed to stop the bullying for me.

actually, in my old school, it's the lack of staff able to teach that's getting it closed down in a year's time. and there is great team sprit among single year groups, even the nerds are bullies.

Freshmen are annoying sometimes, but you have to remember that seniors probably thought you were annoying when you were a freshman. I do not have a strong opinion about them though so just take things as they come.

We had a Freshman Hell Week this year, but I didn't even get touched because everyone thought I was junior. :D
