I would also really appreciate it if you would let me know your thoughts on JKD and how you progress or what you have learned.. post a reply or email me at ff_mattjones@yahoo.com, I don't care just want to hear from you.!!
Also how do you get those pictures beside your name when reading a post???

Hi Matt
I'm 40 and I've been training actively in the martial arts for the last 27 years and JKD for the last 19 of those.
My first martial arts I was Goju Ryu Karate-Do which I trained in from 1976-86. Currently I'm an Instructor under Sifu Marc McFann of the Inosanto JKD lineage. I've been studying with Sifu McFann since 1993. www.ufa-uk.com
You can find more info on my background on the Instructors page on my website..... www.jkdc.co.uk - I'm the 1st Instructor listed.

Yoda I am 15 and have been training in martial arts since about 1995 where I enrolled in Tae-Kwon-Do, a few months later I had to quit because my dad couldn't pay for me to go any more so he trained me and my brother for a while then about a year and a half ago I got back into Tae-Kwon-Do, I have been studying JKD since 1998... Bruce Lee is such an inspiration... anyway I fell in love with martial arts before I can remember I also love melee combat... I just wish I had more real life experience.. not that I am looking for a fight it's just that is when your TRUE skill is measured, sure sparring is fun but it's just a game to me... but fighting and martial arts is life to me... now I am about 5 and a half feet tall and weigh 120 lbs. (the weight of bruce lee before he died, Ironic huh?) and I rely on my skill and speed and I just want to know the extent of these, I want to know my true potential...

Just out of personal interest Matt, What was the reason he threw a punch at you? Even of more interest, was there a need to punch him in the kidneys? As in... was there anything else you could have done?
Please don't take this the wrong way. I just recently read some pages. I find a relation here to it.
