"The ancient sages said "do not despise the snake for having no horns, for who is to say it will not become a dragon?"
So may one just man become an army.
Nearly a thousand years ago in ancient China, at the time of the Sung dynasty, there was a cruel and corrupt government.
These men riding are outlaws -- heroes -- who have been driven to live in the Water Margins of Liang Shan Po, far to the south of the capital city. Each fights tyranny with a price on his head, in a world very different from our own.
The story starts in legend even then, for our heroes, it was said, were perhaps the souls reborn of other, earlier knights."

Yeah, the same quote is in an episode of Monkey.
Man, I'd love to see the Water Margin again.
If I had the cash handy (which I never do :( ) I'd buy
this (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/7119016636/ref%3Dsim%5Fbooks/103-8678331-7647818) in a flash. Check out the double special below the main pic, both sets for US$80.
*sigh* If only I were rich...

Still remember the dissapointment I felt after my 1st MA class when I didn't get to fly on a little cloud or make jokes about farting before kicking the arse of some guy in bad demon make up :(
mind you I still feel the urge to ask people to rub my staff & see if it'll get bigger ;) (it's a quote from the show people, honest :) )

Yeah, but Monkey didn't risk incarceration for the suggestion!
My dad told me about the Water Margin and Monkey, I'd never heard of them :P

This is clearly a case of child abuse, what respectable parent would tease their child by telling them about some of the best tv show's ever made but NOT rush out & buy them on DVD for the child to see. It's like saying " yes I've never eaten anything as nice as that steak I had last night, here's your nice bowl of gruel junior"
I think you should point this out to your dad & make him buy the show's asap ( sending copies to anyone who's written on this thread as a punishment of course:) )
;)hig ;)
