Can you explain what you mean exactly?

Is it the spinning back kick, hitting with the your heal as it arcs round?

I struggle with some many definitions of the same thing, then again in chinese and japanese!!! :p

Many ways to do it though it will be real hard to explain without photos

Pivot your supporting foot in the same position as a side kick

Swing your kicking leg from the inside and upas if you are doing a side swing kick to the inside remember to keep your leg straight

From there swing it hard towards the opposite directiontwisting your body is recommended to get more power but it can leave you unbalanced.

The point of contact in preferably the heel

Some perform a side kick with a half chamber to the inside and then snap it in the opposite direction

A good description of the snap hook kick is in way of the dragon where Bruce is fighting with the second karate guy [the japanese one] they both are in a stance, the bad guy rushes forward and Bruce rushes towards him too but with a hook kick to the face where the bad guy falls down and Bruce follows with a side snap kick to his gace

Mind you this kick requires a good deal of flexibility than the other simple kicks

Hope I helped

ok thanks for the help.
Even though you gave vague discriptions (no offense)

It's ok, it's difficult to explain techniques without photos if not videos, it's really easy to confuse it, the best I would suggest is to look at a video or have someone show it to you
