DENSHUKAI
Information, Dates and Schedule
Date:
November 13th - 15th (15th is optional)
Place:
Ayabe Citizen Center (10 mins walk from JR Ayabe Station)
14 Kamimizoguchi Matsunami-cho, Ayabe-shi, Kyoto Japan
Fee: 17,000 yen per person (transportation, food, accommodations NOT included)
Travel itinerary inside Japan can be arranged
Minimum number of Participants:
6 foreign students.
Anything less the Denshukai will have to be re-scheduled.
Deadline:
October 11th, 2004.
Accommodations:
There are Very few hotel/ryokan located near the community center.
Kikkoya (Japanese Ryokan-style) Shared bathroom
Single room with breakfast and dinner: \10,395 / night / person,
Single room with no meal: \5,775 / night / person
Shared room and simple two meals: \7,650 / person / night.

10:00-12:00 Training

Small sight seeing tour
(Ryukoji Temple, Ayabe Castle site, etc.)
Tranportation:
First, come to Kyoto (http://www.japan-guide.com/e/e2363.html)
Then Take JR SAGANO Line.
It will take about two hours if you take "kaisoku (express)",
One hour if you take "Tokkyu (super express)."
Cost (Kyoto-Ayabe, one way):
1,280 yen for Kaisoku and local trains
2,730 yen for Tokkyu (seat reservation necessary)
Ayabe Citizen Center is 10 min walk from the station.
