That test was to an American server where I got 2.4Mbps.

The UK version is bugged ie doesn't give results.

At home, I doubt that it would nudge the needle...I really gotta upgrade.

The speeds change for me also. Last night it was really fast....I thought, until I saw YODA's speed (that's fast).....but today it has dropped to down in the 60Kbs range.

Looks like you did it a couple times with your CACHE not cleared. That page is decieving.. go to TESTMY.NET its the best one around and the mos accurate.

You would have to have a T3 connection to get speeds this high. Clear your CACHE and try it again.

Try a few different sites.. or try TESTMY.NET

Could be. Is it a cable connection?? Cable connections are "shared" and during high traffic times they can be slower... but you should still be at least getting 700K or as much as 1.2Mbps during offpeak hours
