Ms Access Question

Hey all. I'm making a proof of concept thingy in MS Access and I'm gazzumped.

I'm trying to join two fields that are single letters of the alphabet, but I can't get Access to stop joining capitals with lower case letters, it thinks "r" is "R" etc. Obviously I need to bounce these into ASCII, but I don't know the command.

I'd post this on EasyTek, but I'm not signed up yet.

They had 7 different coloured pens in there jacket pockets, each one for attacking at a different range.. :p
