I have been looking around for a new school to train at, and Hap Ki Do, sound like the art for me. I finally found a school, but now I am wondering if it is legit. I have talked to some people, as well as the instructor, and from the way they talked it sounded like the real thing, but I just want to be sure, because it sounds almost to good to be true.
Here is his website, so please tell me if you know anything about the guy.

The classes are 85$ a month, with 40$ for the uniform. I can go as many times as I want a week, which is around six classes or so in my time slot. I am sure it is a good price, but I just want to make sure that I will at least learn useful things. I guess I should also mention that for that 85$ I will also be taught Tae Kwon Do, Judo, Jujitsu, and Dan Jun Breathing.

Just my opinion, but: the websire looked pretty good and the prices seem fair. I checked out the information and it seems fairly normal. The couple of video clips I watched looked pretty good. I would go and give a try for a bit and see how the training is. I didn't see any glaring warning signs... let us know how it goes!

Well I went to class last night, and I had to sit out after twenty minutes because I was getting sick. I have never kicked that much in my life. Even thought I nearly got sick, I still enjoyed the class.

don't worry
it's probably just the exercise overdose...
tip:
eat an hour in advance
don't eat too greasy (i had to vomit once [i made it to the toilet] during a training, i ate BBQ half an hour be4!)
drink something 10min before training
do NOT 'not eat', if there's no more time to eat, drink a dietshake or something (you know, those astronaut shakes that replace a meal), you need something to burn... trust me
stop smoking (if you do), i did half a year ago, it's so much better for your endurance + stomach
:)

I have to disagree with Fester and he better listens to the good advise of evilkingston. :)
ReodDai, are you still following those classes?
If you do, you will probably feel like you can handle more and more and you are not getting sick anymore. Or not as fast as the first time

hey reod,
do you happen to live in tulsa, OK?? if so i do too!! and i have herd of master moon. it was one school i was looking at going to because he teache hapkido which is a style i want to learn someday. to me though it did not look like a school for me though. i cant really put my finger on it but just did not sit well with me, but that does not mean it is not good for you. it soundsl like you do enjoy it so that is all that really matters but it would be cool to talk to you a little more especialy if you live in or near tulsa. hope to hear from ya!!

Just replying for a quick update and such.
I am getting more used to working out, and I am really starting to get into a groove now. I really like his classes, because he mixes all the arts together, so it doesn't become about only learning one style, but about having a flowing style so that you can go from using a Tae Kwon Do style kick, to do a Judo take down. If that makes any sense at all.
I also do live in Tulsa, but have been busy recently. I sadly had to quit his class, because I moved out of my moms house so I have to get used to paying bills and rent, but after that I figure I will go back and join his school.
