What a superb book!

It took me years to find out a lot of the things he mentions in this book, especially about the Catholic Church, Knights Templar, Free Masons and Priory of Sion. (Mind you, I found out he has a team of full time researchers....)
The story he's weaved round the history that is known to really only those who want to look is excellent. I can't recommend this book enough, whether you're just up for a great story or a well written history lesson, tis up to you.

Any one else read it? Any Christians read it? Any thoughts on the implications this book could have on Western society in the next few years as it has basically 'outed' a lot of information that the general public has never really come across?

Ye i just finished too, amazing book. There is another one out that talks about the realitys and myths of the book, by dan brown as well, and his other books are meant to be very good too. What an amazing idea, it was on sky news last week cause every one from round the world who has read it are starting to gather around roslin church.
My girlfriend was went out to see it and its full of americans asking if there is a small out house at the end of the church( so funny, bloody amaricans)
I think some yanks accutally believe they will find the blood link there.
Also did you know that Harrison Ford is making the movie. i wonder if he will tie it up with INDIE? It could be perfect, Indiana jones and the holy grail?

I've been out to Rosslyn a few times over the last 10 years and it's definitely a lot busier now...

Almost finished it now, the girlfriend is rapidly ploughing through his other ones.

I can/can't believe Harrison Ford is making the movie, all this stuff (plus other stuff not mentioned inthe book) has been around for years (around 1700 yrs), documentary makers have been knocked back by the media when they've tried to come out and say all this before because of fear of the implications - apparently. And now bl**dy Harisson Ford is making the movie?! - great!!! Indy needs a come back and this ain't a bad one - Sean better be there too though or 'I'm noh goin'...

Between this and Michael Moore (Fahrenhiet 9/11), plus access to information through the internet, things are a changin!

10 years time, we'll be living in an entirely pleasant world, with no war, no famine and Yodas one hand clapping thread at 1 million posts!

Anyone interested in this Rosslyn stuff should read "The Book of Hiram" or "The Hiram Key". Cant remember who wrote them but they go on about this in a more factual way rather than a story.

I havent the davinci code though

Is this one of those conspiracy books? try Umberto Eco's 'Foucoult's Pendulum' for an amazing one which is also pure fiction.

Over the past couple of months, I've read all four of Dan Brown's novels. I'm just finishing up Deception Point now. Good stuff.

The DaVinci Code was excellent yeah. I'd recommend going back and reading the prequel as well though. Angels and Demons. More religious conspiracy goodness. With hashashin, illuminati, and vatican politics thrown in for good measure.

This book has to be my favorite! I loved it, I didn't put it down for the two and half days I read it non stop (well okay not non stop...or I woulda been done faster lol I had to eat and sleep sometimes :p ).

I'm reading "Digital Fortress" right now (lol we were talking about books and such in my english class and we had to say what our favorite one was, I said this book and someone asked if I had it. I said yeah and he offered to let me borrow digital fortress if I lent him my copy of DVC). It's pretty interesting, especially since I've studied cryptology a little and oddly enough I like math (not necessarily doing the homework and stuff, but I like learning it).

I'm probably going to read 'angels and demons' next, which I should have done before I read the da vinci code.

Oh and BTW he's working on a new book with Robert Langdon in it now.

I really liked all of Dan Brown's books. Good fun.

The Hiram Key is by ???? Knight and Robert Lomas I think. I've got it and read it some time ago. It's quite interesting and I think I'll look it out again.

The Holy Blood and the Holy Grail gives some more info on a lot of the stuff in the book.

I liked all the stuff about the Golden Ratio - some of that maths stuff is really fascinating when you look into it.

History is written by the victors and everything written is subjective. Keep an open mind. At the very least researching some of this stuff yourself might now be an option that never occurred before?!

Still got another two of his to go - no wonder he Church hate him...

Well I'm almost finished with digital fortress and about a half hour ago I got back from the book store where I bought Deception Point and Angels&Demons (both paperbacks so they were pretty cheap, compared to the Da Vinci Code hardback  )
