Antisocial, It does count, trust me. If hurting yourself on accident was a martial art, I'd be a black belt by now :D

TKDWarrior: That depends. I can read a novel at about a page in 7-10 seconds and follow the story quite nicely. When I am reading a textbook my speed is a bit slower especially if it contains lots of technical terms that I am not familiar with.
I am not sure in words per minute, don't want to bother counting how many words are on a book of a page.
When I am reading a webpage with my dad or a friend they always get angry at me for scrolling down too fast, they just can't keep up.

LoL same happens here... i stopped practicing so my speed dropped a lot anyways 7-10 sec per page is not bad u would hav around 350-400 words per minute.

Tkd: That speed is not my highest ever too. I could not read very well until I was in the third grade but from then until I was in the ninth grade I was reading extreamly fast(I am very young for my grade). In high school I sadly have not had a lot of time to read so my speed has declined.

Battlefield - I'm a one man army (not good with or against planes). Give me a Soviet artillery (the 6 rocket launcher truck) and your in for a bad day. My sniping is awesome over distances and on a good day will only miss one bullet per clip and not be seen until I am trying to knife people due to lack of ammo.
Oh and I am the deciding factor on Stalingrad - I own that map.
My call sign in quake was Death and it was more a description of my skill rather than a vanity - I had a guy pined down once, spawn killing him for about ten minutes (TF, sniping).
I am the fastest driver at my pizza shop, I took 5 deliveries and got back within 30 mintues.
I am a crazy rave dancer - give me drum n' base and my feet spend more time in the air than on the floor (went like that for about 2 hours once - very tiring).
While not a fast reader I can read for days at a time.

I just read Talon of the Silver Hawk by Raymond Fiest in a day and a half - started Sunday afternoon, had to go to work at 5:30, started again when I got home at 11:30 stopped at 2:00AM. Started again Monday arvo (stupid parents wanted me to work in the garden) then finished it about 2:00PM.
It's about 400 pages long.
Crossroads of twilight - Robert Jordan, 700 pages - took about 3-4 days.
