Hi Guys :)
I am not a Qi-Gong practitioner nor a Reiki master ;)
But i found a nice Meditation Exercise in my moms BhrammaVidhyabook(BhrammaVidhya is a ancient teachings of breathing exercises didicated to God Bhramma-Maker of the Universe ,the exercises r like Yoga). This exercises includes Prana also knows as Chi in Kungfu.
Ok now to the exercise, This exercise is like Meditation shud be practised in a clean and undisturbed Environment.

The Exercise procedes in this manner:

1) Site in a comfortable posture like in meditation with ur pams facing upwards and open and ur eyes closed

2)Now continue with ur normal breathing pace but when u inhale feel that ur taking in the natural life force and when u exhale feel that the dirt in ur body is burned and thrown out thru ur nose, do this for 5-6 times and then let ur breathing flow naturally.

3)Now think abt urself as The ONE dont think of Neo and Trinity or the women in red , think of u being the most powerfull human being and u got all the qualities which a Perfect human being shud have. Slowly u will see a posture in front of u that is U.

4)Now slowly bring that posture near u, as it comes nearer u will see a bright white light comming thru it as heavenly light. when u see that light bring the image in ur body, as it enters in u will get a warm feeling.

5)Now when this light is glowing thru ur body u can move it to any specific part of ur body to be healed.Keep this feeling for atleast 3-4mins.
In all this process u will feel like ur whole body is filled with some unknow but pleasent energy it will start from ur hands.

I have done this exercise befor going to sleep coz i got a terrible pain in my biscepts after doing Pyramide Pushups the pain was there for the whole day but when i did this exercise it proved very effective coz there was no pain in the morning when i woke up, so i did pyramid pushups again just to check the pain and i was Amazed to see the results.
U will be amazed too when u try it, just go for it. :)

Very interesting S.I.D..
I'll give this a go when my room is a little more presentable. Got rock climbing equipment all over the joint ;)
Now I know nothing o spiritual meditatin, only knowledge meditation.

Slowly u will see a posture in front of u that is U.

What on earth does this mean? Can you explain it for me please. I will see a posture?

I think a great meditation to heal emotional suffering is simply to sit and watch the in and out breathing.

Say an animal in the forest has become wounded. It will find somewhere safe to take shelter and rest. It won't worry about food or anything at all... it will focus solely on resting. After a while, the animal heals. It heals because it has allowed itself to rest.

Now, your mind is probably constantly being bombarded by external pressures, situations, and expectations. Such is life. These worries and sorrows may enter our mind and bounce back and forth on the thought-machine, offering very little in the way of rest or healing.

If we sit down crosslegged and simply make the effort to recite 'In' when breathing in, and 'out' when breathing out, holding the attention on the sensations at the nostril, something great happens. The mind begins to focus and the mental feedback loop carrying all the worries that further hold us down slows a little. When this happens, we attain rest.

Keeping the attention on the breathing, we may find that a very restful and kind space open. Naturally, as the mind itself sees fit, all the thoughts and feelings and hurt-inner-child games may start to arise from the unconscious. All you have to do is accept your suffering, allow it to rise, stay, and pass away.. keeping attention on the breathing and on maintaining an open, receptive state. I have found that resting allows healing to occur naturally.

This is just my experience.

Great, and now I've wrote all that, I remember this was about PHYSICAL healing.

lol

Well, you can focus on the in-and-out breathing for a while to allow your mind to rest, and then pay attention to consciously relaxing the painful area. Might help in temporarily reducing soreness or pain.

Still to regain my posting technique... you know, that one that requires READING.

hey shadow of evil
ancint Indian scriptures(like ayurveda) talks about illness in different manner than Allopathy...
they say if illness has come to your body(u r doing something wrong) then your body has a cure for it... ie. Kaffa. Vatta. Pitta.
most of illness comes from imbalance of all three elements(Kaffa Vatta Pitta), so in indian methods we try to balance these elements and get cured.

Say an animal in the forest has become wounded. It will find somewhere safe to take shelter and rest. It won't worry about food or anything at all... it will focus solely on resting. After a while, the animal heals. It heals because it has allowed itself to rest.
exactly...the answers are within you ;)
