MMA and self defence on Wednesday 6:30 and Tai Chi on Thursdays at the RSMAD (I called them...). The Capoeira stopped a few months back and they are not sure why.
Then did another Google search...

A friend of mine is teaching Capoeira in glasgow.
If you surf on over to http://www.senzalascotland.com you can get the details of the classes he runs.
He is a brazilian capoeira professor with the Grupo Senzala organisation which is probably the most famous capoeira group in brazil, if not the world! and that is NOT me being big headed, its actually true!

Hello, read yer posts bout the glasgow classes for capoeira.
The class that you lot are talkin bout is by Group Senzala, it was originally at the RSMAD but moved to the small church at kelvinbridge, it has now stopped until the group can find another hall to practice in.

Hi all, (Scuzzi in particular)
I used to be involved in Capoeira in Scotland and helped set up a couple of initiatives in Glasgow.
Namely the stuff at the Uni and up the western road.
As for Krauses, the chap who ran that no longer teaches, If memory serves he was student and has probably graduated or gone back to Brazil. (He is from the UK but had been living there)
The Capoeira Scotland site is no longer active, nor is the organisation in any meaningful way I believe. SAD!
Pedro, who Scuzzi mentioned is Mestre Gato's son, and an accomplished Capoeirista. His style is that of his group Senzala. A mix of Angola & Regional I suppose. Scuzzi can probably tell you more.
HOpe you find more classes, I shall email my old friends in Edinburgh who were involved in the Glasgow initiatives and see if they know what is available over there.
Please send me an email or personal message if you would like me to contact them.
