Hi All
I'm looking for an RF chip and base station to integrate into a software package created in VB, which can do all this:
1. Range of at least 100 meters
2. Min. ping rate of 15 seconds with a 3 year life
3. Must be able to read through metal
4. The chip needs to be as small as possible (I realise this is probably restricted by the battery).
5. THe chip must also have a unique identifier
6. USB connectivity would be a bonus
This will be used in a heavy manufacturing environment so it is important that it won't be affected by 100s of CNC machines.
The price is also important, I'd be looking to purchase these in qtys of around 1000, looking to pay £2-3 for the chips (including battery) and under £100 for the base station.
If anyone has any ideas I'd love to hear them!
