Hey have you tried www.intensefitness.co.uk they are up in the north of england and deliver kettlebells all over the UK and Europe - I've got one 8kg, two 16kgs and a 25kg - they're great!!!!

I am a Dumbbells swing convert but have never got my hands on KBs.
Check out

for some excerises most of whcih can be applied to DB but am told that the workout is slightly different with KB.
Hope that of use

Yeah the work outs are best achieved with kettlebells as they lend themselves more to being thrown about for want for a better expression. :)

Swings are virtually the same with either.

But doing clean and snatches, the kettlebell puts me under constant tension when doing cleans and snatches as the weight is transferred to the back of the arm and so I have to fight the KB weight constantly. Once I clean or snatch a dumbbell, its more about balance once its up there.

Loz - do you find the 25Kg OK ... I'm thinking of getting one but dont want it to be too heavy for my weak puny body :D I dont want a light one coz Yoda will shout :D 'Why bother lifting if you aint lifting heavy !'

I have heard they are a bit pricey so I might follow Yoda and keep my eye out for any secondhand ones.:DThat and the fact that I am a cheap *******. You are doing well to be cranking the 25kg,nice one

Jay I find the best way to pick a kettlebell weight for medium to large frames is to start with a 11kg or 16kg - you are after technique first and foremost so you do not injury yourself.

Once you have that - it is a steady progression up through the weights.

Me for example, I started with an 8Kg, and I can still remember thinking after my first workout that I felt like I'd been kicked up the butt! I learned all my technique with the 8kg and 11kg KBs.

Today I use two 16kgs for my workouts and finish off with the 25kg along with 50kg on a 2" 5/8 diameter fatbar for grip work.

I wouldn't attempt it but to do two arm drills with two 25kgs - you have to be seriuosly strong!

Jay if you can curl 16kg quite easily you will probably be able to get away with a 16kg kettlebell.
