Hi... I'm from Oz as the profile says... i have heard that pracitcing Muay Thai in australia as a full contact martila art was illegal. Is there any aussie's in this forum who do Muay Thai in Australia?

well i was searchin around for Muay Thai Gym Last week in Syd...and to b honest...there isnt much of them around...just a few scattered around

I think it is more that some states dont permit Fight nights.

You probably won't find too many MT-only gyms around, but there are plenty of Muay Thai+others centres around Australia, and they're not exactly that hard to find.

My two Sifu/Sensei/ so on have Muay Thai backgrounds.... or at least one of them, their both part of the same JKD fed which answers directly to Mr Dan Inosantos (i think thats how you spell it), but they also have some skill i many other fighting styles. ie, Aikido, so on
