Hello all,
My judo club has had to close down and i aint very happy about it, but, there may be another club opening up some time in the near future, how ever i'm keen in the meantime to continue my study, via materials, mainly books.

Can anyone point me in the direction of a good judo book?

Btw, i'm not wanting a book that will show me how to perform moves and then for me to practise them. No, bad idea, i can wait till a club opens again.

Many thanks.

Kodokan Judo by Kano Jigoro is a great text book for waza and kata.

Another great one is the newly republished Canon of Judo by Kyuzo Mifune.

Those two should keep you busy for a few months.

I agree Kodokan Judo is one of the best I've read
