What do you think is the most painful area of the body to get hit? (I think we all know what the guys are gonna say :) )

I don't know, but I've got a few of them. :(
Personally, all the small bits that stick out seem to generate a lot of pain in proportion to their size. And I was thinking of noses, ears, fingers and toes there before all the innuendo starts!!
Pelvic area (on girls, not just fellas), plexus, throat, large areas of muscle such as thigh and bicep, any joint..... oh, yeah and shins, they really hurt..... and the top of your foot.....
Maybe I'm just a wuss. :D

In no particular order:
Lymph system (Especially arm pits) - I cannot accurately describe how painful and intrusive it is to be punched in the arm pit.
Cheek Bone - This one sucks, especially in grappling
Solar Plexus - One good shot and you're body's nive and disrupted
Nerve Lines - Thai roundhouse to the outter leg line and it takes most of the night to recover. Radial isn't fun either.
Floating ribs - Far more painful than the rest of the ribs
That's it for now. I'm sure I'll think of more.

Since I'm still trying to recover from a trauma to my back (kidney/hip area) from 5 days ago, I have to say this area. Can't sit, lay or walk comfortably and the pain is not only excrutiating when hit but days after also.

What do you mean, Dragon Bunny? Is there a sexual connotation to the visceral area in females??????? I never heard of avoiding this area before. Is there a joke here I'm not getting?
I always get kicked in the stomach when sparring (well, I'm not all that crap but that's where they all seem to land.) . If you can't hit the abdomen where can you hit?

No1: Yerk!
No2: Matt, what does the word 'nive' mean? I have never heard that one before. What is its etymology?

Oops, "Nice". Darn quick typeing, lack of proof reading and two keys so close together...
But I get to throw the etymology back at you... "yek?"
And allow me to also added Kidney 10 - Aka Bubbling Well - aka center bottom of the foot. If someone gets you on this point in a grappling situation... again "new" (albiet temporary) pain.
I second the kidney area Kickchick!

harldy any inuendno so far, i'm shocked...
For me:
My left knee as it is weaker compared to my right due to a snowboarding injury
My groin- a judo accident- apparently...
my shins if me and my opponent both go into to swipe each others feet, we end up prancing off the mat clutching our feet... Ow Ow ow...
my lower back- always hurts after a while, might be something to do with the fact i do judo, dunno?

The webbing between your toes! I once put some of my dad's "special" althetes foot solution on them. Once I was able to stand/speak/see I notice that the bottle warned NOT to remove skin from the infected area before application.
Other than that I would say the ocipital nerve, just below the nose.

Matt Bernius!!!!! You devil!!!!! You had me mad with curiosity!!!! I was searching all over my Encyclopaedia Britannica program and all the time the word you meant was nice!!!!!!!
But I get to throw the etymology back at you... "yek?"
Matt, I didn't mean the perceived existence of the word 'nive' , I meant getting hit in the solar plexus.
What about:
-funny bone-not so funny when you get spinning heel kicked there by a top BB. Trust me. it gives you a scar down your arm(where you feel it burn) and tingles and hurts for about 4 days. I was the lucky test dummy.
-spine-That hurts sooooo bad.
-anywhere around your eyes is sensitive-

the coccyx. I've only been hit relatively gently there before but a friend of mine had his broken when falling down the stairs. He could not sit down for months.

nope no joke.. it's kinda like a groin shot for men.. can do some damage if the woman is pregnant and even if she's not (and yes people can be pregnant and not know it) so just for safety the club doesn't allow stomach shots to women. lots of senstive organs there.
my friend does jujitsu and she's not alowed to be thrown in a stomach throw for the same reasons.
If you can't hit the abdomen where can you hit?
umm...everywhere else.. heat ribs legs arms knees feet etc.. just not the soft squishy lower abdomen. :D

Undisputed sensitive spot: the boys, twins, whatever you call them
1). The neck, larger target than the eyes
2). Temple (A well placed high shin roundhouse can maim or kill)
Tie: 3). Eyes
3). Groin (including lower abdomen area just a cm over the belt)
4). Ribs
5). Kidneys (it is possible to kill someone with a vicious knee)

Well from sparring with my bud yesterday, I have to say your radial nerves, groin, knees, and solarplex. My lead shin took a beating too but not as bad as these areas getting struck.
edit I also got a good strike on the outer thigh that still hurts.

A spot that effects everyone (usually) equally, whether a child or an adult.
A spot that takes very little force to use effectively.
A spot that works equally well on male or female.
A spot that is easy to get to and hard to defend against is......
CV-22 or Conception Vessel 22 or the Windpipe.
Located at the bottom of the throat...just above the chest.
A thumb or finger dug in there will invoke an involuntary gag reflex.
Increased pressure or a strike can be more serious.

All right, I conclude that I must be from another planet or something, because I'm a girl and I can take fairly vicious kicks to the stomach without feeling pain. Unless one of 'em lands in solar plexus, in which case... yeah, it hurts.....oh no, you were on about the 'soft, squishy lower abdomen.'
Just call me 'The Anomaly' :) . You'll find me running up walls and dodging bullets :D

So.....Just a light flick of the fingers into the eye would cause less of a reaction than a light flick of the fingers at the elbow??

The fingers SUCK Ghost Frog...I damaged my index finger about a month ago from trying to slap down a kick. It locked back as far as it would go leaving it swollen and immobile not to mention painful...where's a surge of adrenaline when you really want one??? (Or is it endomorphins...I can't remember.) And spooky is right the groin sucks for a female too. Did I say it didn't hurt - I was talking out of my arse. Doesn't take a hard kick - even being jerked around while riding a bike hurts. Oh yeah and the solar plexus really hurts - I would hate to be hit there by a male fighter because of all the sexist 'See she can't take it' malarkey that would doubtless start up. Strange priorities maybe...all the people who have said I'm a weirdo are probably right...could be the Scorpio in my nature I guess.
Just thought I should contribue my own answer to this thread since it was me who started it...sayonara guys.
