Guys,

Do any of you practice endurance traning in arnis? That is doing a certain technique for a few minutes over and over again, to develop muscle strength.

I do believe that some practitioners use steel pipe cut to the length of
their normal stick size. The trick would be keeping your techniques from
getting sloppy.

I do it all the time,
I use heavy sticks any way (Iron wood and hickory) and always spend atleast 1 hour of my weeks training in endurance.
Usually based around siniwali and single stick with punches and kicking making every hit with intent ( as we always train, whether it be sparring or training). I have found this work wonders and means that to "crash through" a block or interuption I don't end up off lining my body and loose my "theory of facing" or balance. This of course develops whole body strangth.
Whilst I'm mentioning hickory does any one else use this as I haven't seen it mentioned on this site yet.Of course this is not authentic Philipino material (as far as I know any way).
I'm not sure if that made sense, but its starting to get late and I'm getting tiered :) .
Blimey I must be getting old !.
