Interesting side note, the band I'm in are going to do a punk metal version of the theme from 'Fists of Fury'... including the really cheesy lyrics...

'Enter' is the best for my money.

Enter the Dragon aaaaaall the way.

Best plot.
Best action.
Best acting.
Best cast.
Best music.
Best costumes.
Best war cry's.
Best one liners!!!!

IMHO

Like em all though, for different reasons.

I have to say that I reckon Enter The Dragon was the best. I think it was at a point in time when the money was available for better filming etc, so you get to see what the man is capable of. Having said that, Way Of The Dragon is awesome, too. The nice things about the older fliks are that they are more 'gritty', if you like!!!

I still gotta hang my hat on 'Enter'.

It's like the first Martial Arts parody, and gives us a sniff of what Bruce was about.

At the start of the film you see him finishing off the fight with Samo Hung (of Martial Law) by grappling and gaining a tap out.

In the build up you get an idea of the importance he placed on various philosophies, with the 'finger pointing a way to the moon' quote, the gambling match on the junk, the challenge on the junk and how he dealt with it etc.

You see stripped down Wing chun, to staff to Eskrima and Nunchakus, adapting to the environment (nice cameo appearance of Jackie Chan) and using whatever skills were appropriate at the moment, like he wanted JKD to be.

I don't know if 'Game of Death' would have been as good as 'Enter', had he been able to finish it properly.

The problem for me with 'WOTD', is that there are so many different cuts of the film, but none of them really flow like a finished film. Admittedly the main fight off with Chuck Norris is masterful, and the back alley scenes fights and training behind the restaraunt are great, but a large portion of the film is crap.

I'd go for 'The Big Boss' as my second choice to 'Enter'. Entertaining, with some good fight sequences. Nice build up too. You just know he's gonna burst out at some point, but the film keeps you waiting.

Definately WOTD!

As actual films they are all BAD!

Take away the fight scenes and what do you have left - nothing!

For fight scenes WOTD is way better than the rest.

I agree with Andy on this one....'Enter' gives the viewer a good idea of what Bruce is like, for real. Obviously it was no Biography, but there's enough in there to be a more complete film. I do concede, however, WOTD has some excellent fights in it....
