I know it's not a martial arts game but I need some help here. My friend burned me a cd with...

- a winzip file containing the installation program for half life, HL.ACE and about 57 files named HL.C01 up to HL.C57

- the full CS v1.5 mod file (csv15full)

- a cd key generator (his brother hacked the counter-strike database and created ALOT of cd keys lol)

He managed to install and play CS with these files but for some reason I'm having trouble. Could someone please walk me through what I need to do and/or tell me what I'm missing? Thanks.

lol yeah I know I'm a common criminal :) But seriously I need help... I'm right now in the middle of downloading this patch that I may be missing, but if that doesn't work then please give me your input.

Or you could try playing a proper game - BATTLEFIELD 1942, oh yeah.

Makes CS look arcadey not the realism of when it first came out.

i never played counter strike, my personal favourites are medal of honour allied assault(absolutely brilliant game) global operations and black hawk down

counterstrike is boring. In fact, all doom-shooters are pretty boring. (with the exception of NOLF)

Favourite gun was the AK-47 with a p228 for backup. They put too much recoil after Cs1.3 though :(

Me education began suffering, so i quit. I d/l a version the other week, but i got bored so uninstalled it. Can i be tactician? we can play aztec against clans, i have got a foolproof stratergy :D
