Just wondering which you like more, dodging or blocking?

Ideally I like to intercept & jam. :D

Block and angle off ideally, when blocking's not an option just get out of the way.

Actually, I have a habit of open handed sweeping kicks and punches and steeping away. I defend usually, very seldom the aggressor unless it's a new or lesser skilled student who needs to react.

Yeah, I tend to dodge alot more than I block. Whenever I do block, I'm always gonna follow up immediately with a punch or a kick to the knee or something.

What about just attacking? :D

I would say it varies from fight to fight depending on your oppnents attitude

i will echo PGM's comment :D...
totally offensive(does that count?)
tho i like intercepting/checking/watver_that_called n blasting my oppnt with totally offensive(in case my oppnt started it)

big e - a man after my own heart. Keep it up for several years and your nose will become indestructable. Not good for pulling chicks though.

Yeah sorry lol I forgot about pure offense. I guess nothing but dodging would be close enough though...

Actually, can a moderator just change the poll to have pure offense as a sixth option and reset the votes? Then everyone please vote again :).

Hi Sean O,

I've added in a couple of options for you, but I think when you have voted, you have voted. Re-setting the votes to 0 won't let people vote again. Sorry!

No problem Andy. I think if someone who has already voted just HAD to make it clear that they would've rather picked one of the new ones, then can just post :).

What about block and grab (goose necking yay)?

Doesn't matter how you attack, I just want to know about how you defend.
