Just wanted to know what everyones feelings were on "Dragon: The bruce lee story", personally I feel that its a great film many of the facts are untrue and parts of his life were missed out but still a great film and any comments on Jason Scott Lee's performance?

He's not really a fighter, [Jason Scott Lee I mean] anyways I liked some techniques here and there but nothing really special, nothing close to the legendary Bruce Lee :D Sure Jason's acting was great but it just does not match up to the charisma Bruce Lee had, oh and welcome to the forums dragon :D

Yeah I know I brought the DVD and it shows Jason training during the film performing some trapping and straight blasts. Don't know if you noticed shannon Lee in it at all?

I've heard pros & cons about this film but I've never seen it myself.

It may not top the records, but it's worth watching, I found it to be more sentimental rather than a martial arts movie. Shows Lee's passion for the arts in a good way. but many facts in this movie r wrong, for eg - Bruce Lee was not alive when 'Tao of Jeet kune do' was published. Overall this is an 'ok' movie

As with all biographical films - they can't do the whole life, so they then picture puzzle it all together and get it wrong; BUT the film is pretty good just not accurate - Jason Scott Lee was perfect for the part.

Reminds of The Buddy Holly Story starring Gary Busey - all the facts jumbled up, half of it missing, BUT a good film and a great performance by Gary Busey.

It think it was a good film as well, entertainment wise....as some has said, it wasn't accurate....however....I know some one who probally would have played the role of Bruce better. Donnie Yen. His Bruce Lee impersonation is amazingly the best I have ever seen in my entire 20 years upon the face of the earth, and my 100years on the planet krypton.....

Who can match good ol' Bruce himself, Jason tried really hard to try to get the charisma Bruce had but he just could'nt do it, Bruce himself may not be good at acting, but his expressions when he's in a fight makes u watch every split second, his presence came with an aura to match

Found it quite entertaining.

Had it not been for this film, I would never have heard of JKD. After watching the film, i wanted to know more about BL, and luckily found Yoda to guide me down the path of JKDC.
