Hi Ghostsuit,
I,m absolutely sick of getting 'quoted'. especially seeing as I can't work out how to return the favour. I think it would help make some of my replies a little more coherent, so please explain how to do it.
I hit the quote button, but I can't get the text to come up.
Just you guys wait........I'll have you eating your words hahahahaha

Hi Andy,
Firstly don't use the quick reply button, go to post reply that way you can use the Quote option in there, there is a button which if you click will review the entire thread then all you do is highlight the bit you want to quote copy it 'Ctrl C' hit the quote button then in the wee box that comes up paste in the text 'Ctrl V' then ok it and there you go.
Not very good at explaining techy stuff but hope that helps.

Ok just to prove I am in 'Post Reply'.....I will change the clour of my text . When I hit the quote buttonBlah Blah I get an explorer box, which I can type into. In this case I just typed Blah, Blah. When this explorer box comes on, I can no longer scroll up and down the thread to highlight anything, as the display is locked by the window that the quote button has opened.
Aaaaargghhhh:confused: :confused: :confused:

Ahh The trick is you [Ctrl + C] the text you want before you hit the quote button.
So the quick way to quote is...[list=1]
Select the Text
[Ctrl + c]
Hit Quote button while in post reply
[Ctrl + v] that pastes the text
Hit ok on the quote box
[/list=1]
Simple when you know how utterly confusing when you don't.

<?php
$numrows = mysql_num_rows($bresult);
?> So I'm using that as an excuse don't know what jacks is though? :D

Hey, there's a definite inverse relationship between programming ability and spelling ability, anywhere you look! I can parse English, but not Perl, and I'd trade skills if I could...
