Hmm.....in this exercise I noticed that many people hold their breath while doing this exercise....I myself did not realise it until I exhaled suddenly while doing them. And if I try to breath normally while doing them, the push-ups actually became more difficult.

Now the question is do you breath in a specific way for your push-ups. or is it of no importance to you?

Note

This question also applies to weight training.

I just breathe, same as with techniques, patterns, and so on. (except for kiyapping of course)

Hi Cain

On resistance exercises you should breath out whilst doing the positive phase of the movement (The hard part). Although with low resistance like pushups it's probably not that important.

Possibly - I consider anything that you can perform more than 15 times without reaching failure to be "low resistance".

Hmm....must make note of that........thanx.

I gotta make somebody sit on my back when doing push-ups to make it a high resistance exercise :D
