Can we shoot anyone who intervenes in this thread saying JKD isn't really a martial art? Right, anyways, I've completed phases 1-3.

We call it phases too :)
I'm only on phase 1 :D But if this were Tae Kwon Do then this would be very different :D

I have no rank in JKD - it isn't a style you see :D

My Instructor in "Things people call JKD" (He's a full instructor in Jun Fan Gung Fu under Guro Dan Inosanto) uses both student & instructor levels.

There are 7 instructor levels - I am currently graded at the 5th of those 7.

Is it depending on the instructor, there are different ways they rank the system? Yes I know, it's not a style blah, blah, blah but hear me out! :)

Anyways, we use phases too. I'm currently on my 3rd phase. :D

Yeah there isn't any differences, I was just curious that some instructors rank it differently that's all :)
Anyways, there shouldn't be a focus on what grade, phase, etc you are but what you use effectively I guess?

Plus a rank doesn't make a great martial artist. A great quote I always remember:

I fear not the man who practices 10,000 techniques but the man who practices a single technique 10,000 times.
