I'm waiting patiently for Yoda to see this film and give us his critique on the 'fencing' between Bond and Graves.

But personally one of the best bits was when the korean Colonel goes completely TKD on his punch bag, only to find out he's put someone in it!!!

Cool!

You'll have a long wait Freeform - the only excuse I get to go to the cinema is if the kids wanna see it too - and they don't.

Going to se Harry Potter today --- AGAIN!

Most technically accurate fencing sequence to date was in The Princess Bride.

I thought the fencing in Mask of Zorro was quite good, certainly better than the stuff Bond was doing. Although I have never done any fencing, so you should probably ignore everything I`ve said

The judgement on Princess Bride was officially taken by olympic champions apparently.

I did like Bond's longsword fencing though, finally people using longswords at a decent speed. Remember that at the beginning of the fencing sequence they were fencing to rules, and afterwards it was swordfighting more than fencing, whereas in mask of Zorro it was purely fencing, just without the rules.

From the director of THE STORM RIDERS comes this stunning, incredible special effects swordplay epic blockbuster in the tradition of CROUCHING TIGER, HIDDEN DRAGON and THE MATRIX! The elusive "Sword Saint" (Andy Lau) requests a duel with "God of Sword" (Ekin Cheng from THE STORM RIDERS) at the apex of the Forbidden City, to see who is the world's finest swordsman. As the date of the duel nears, however, troubles soon befall the Imperial town, from surprise attacks to a daring conspiracy against the emperor, until everything is revealed at the climactic, spectacular fight.

If it's got people flying about on wires and generally fighting in "I'll have a go - you have a go - nothing hurts" mode - then yes.

I thought it was a plotless excuse to move from one action scene to another with minimum acting ability. But you don't go to a Bond film for acting ability, ditch the space laser and the 'power man' suit and I woulda said it was great (mindless action, my favorite), as it was, hmm, ok.

It was simply a "we are going to make a 20th Bond film"
Huge quantity of tiny little nods to every other Bond film, some blatant nods to them. The problem was that the premise was quite a good idea but the decided to ignore it mostly.
