Those of you that practice Silat, how did you go about finding a salit school? For those of you, that live outside of the South Asian Region, did you travel to Indonesia (or wherever) to train?

It really depends on where you live. As there are very few locations with actual silat certified instructors it can be difficult. Fortunately silat is getting more popular nowadays. The web may be one source to find a school or through friends. I have been lucky enough to have visited Indonesia several times to train.
