Hello all,

I currently own a Playstation 2 and a Gamecube, but this spanky new xbox crystal looks the biz. However, I also wouldn't mind getting a famicom style gameboy advance sp. What do you peeps reckon? The xbox does look like it had awesome games available for it but are they massively different to playstation or gamecube?

Yeah I know it sounds greedy to have so many games machines but I missed out on the whole Megadrive, SNES, Dreamcast, N64 and Playstation scene so I'm making up for it now :Angel:

I own a lot of consoles so does my bro. He has the famicon style Gameboy Advance SP, as you call it. Its okay. I think you mean the Wonder Swan. Or do you mean the Japanese Gameboy Advance SP? Anyway, Wonder Swan doesn't have a lot of games to it, so it's a gamble.

Well, I own a Xbox. My bro owns an American and Japanese PS2, and I have played the Gamecube many times with my friends. I think the Xbox it totally worth the money, but it all depends on the games you like. I like my adult style gaming so I love the Xbox. Halo, Ninja Gaiden, Tenchu, Metal Gear Solid 2: Substance, Dead or Alive 3, Shenmue 2, Sega GT 2002, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, etc. Don't forget about all the other games coming out. Fable, StarCarft: Ghost, BC, Dead or Alive 4 and Code Cronus, Halo 2, and oh so many more.

Check out the games, cause if there are a lot of games you like then the console will be perfect for you. Besides it shouldn't matter how many consoles you have as long as you got a good amount of games with it or for it.

it doesnt have some ofthe games that other systems have.. i wouldnt get it because the games seem a bit esoteric. ps2 and GC have games for all types of people and of course many gams that arent. for exbox doesnt have enough games that might apeal to me, im tight on cash.

Got loads of consoles here. owned almost every console around, cept the gamecube.
I still prefer the Sega Dreamcast, but at the moment, the X-Box is doing great. Got it all chipped and enhanced so i can play any game around the world!! :D

well i have a gameboy sp and a ps2.. ps2 isnt really as strong as xbox but even tho i game a lot i dont really.. care :)
i got it purely because i didnt care much for the differences in the games BESIDES the fact that ps2 has FINAL FANTASY games and im a fan of those so i was bought on that even before i looked up the otehr game differences... and i wasnt happer that on soul calibur ps2 only got heihachi as a bonus character cause... spawn and link are so much better...
just my 2 cents..

I'd say go for the PC but that's not the topic here ;)

If I were to go for a console I'd either go for the ps2 or x-box because of their popularity and seeing as you aleady have a ps2 - go for the x-box :D

Only thing bad about the classics is when the Nintendo doesn't want to play. I hate that.

I own a Xbox. I love it and the Dreamcast. Of course, it is about what games you like. Great games to get, Halo, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, Soul Calibur 2, Sega GT 2002, Dead or Alive 3, Ninja Gaiden, Metal Gear Solid: Substance, Tenchu: Return from Darkness, Dead to Rights, etc. Plus games that will be coming out this year and next, Halo 2, Fable, Doom 3, StarCraft: Ghost, Theif 3, B.C., Dead or Alive: Ultimate, Dead or Alive 4, Dead or Alive: Code Cronus, etc.

Look at it this way. The system costs $150 now. If you find at least 10 games from the whole line up, the game's that are already out. Then buy it. If not, find someone who owns one and play their's.

Ha-ha, heh-he. That was cool. Don't mean to make fun, but it just sound cliche saying wait for the next system. Anyway, hope Sony fixes the disc reading problems and stuff. System breaks down a little too easy compared to the others.

xbox users got gta and the expansion game-vice city.
go get an xbox.
